Columbia River High School Senior Booster’s Baccalaureate is a non-denominational event that celebrates the academic achievements of our graduating seniors as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives. Held within the familiar confines of our school, this ceremony fosters unity and shared experiences among the graduating class, welcoming students of all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds and ensures everyone can attend regardless of religious affiliation.
The baccalaureate offers a reflective and inspirational space for students, their families, and the broader community. It transcends religious boundaries, focusing on universal themes such as personal growth, resilience, and the pursuit of knowledge. The event includes speeches from Senior Class students, faculty, and community leaders, delivering words of wisdom, encouragement, and inspiration. Music performances are typically performed by Seniors.
By hosting the baccalaureate at our high school, we aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment that reflects the diversity of our student body. Families, friends, and community members are invited to join in this joyous celebration, supporting our graduates as they transition into the next phase of their lives. The non-denominational nature of the event ensures that everyone feels included, respected, and free to participate in a ceremony that honors the collective accomplishments of our graduating seniors.
